SHC directed K-Electric to act upon NEPRA's order that was issued on
January 22, 2016 in which NEPRA had declared area-wise load shedding illegal.
The court in its decision has remarked that NEPRA had declared area wise load shedding 'illegal' on
January 22, 2016, therefore K-electric should implement NEPRA orders immediately.

January 22, 2016, and accompanying this law, law 14 stipulates the ratification on convention on air service between the government of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the government of Georgia, signed Bahrain on January 21, 2016, and accompanying this law, Law 15 specifies the ratification on convention on the transfer of sentenced persons between the government the Kingdom of Bahrain and the government of the Republic of India, signed in Manama on January 23, 2016, and accompanying this law.
The RFI was published in the Federal Register on
January 22, 2016. The comment period was set to expire on March 22.
The USD0.18 per share dividend is an increase of USD0.02 per share, or 12.5 percent, over the
January 22, 2016 cash dividend of USD0.16 per share.
This cash dividend represents a 1.3 percent annualized yield using the
January 22, 2016 closing common stock price of USD3.16 and represents an approximate payout ratio of 14 percent based upon the company's recently reported fourth quarter 2016 earnings per share of USD0.07.
Dividends will be paid on February 1, 2016 to unit holders of record as of
January 22, 2016.
The dividend will be payable on January 29, 2016 to shareholders of record at the close of business
January 22, 2016.
