Jones, Wesley L. (Livsey)
(1863–1932) U.S. senator; born near Bethany, Ill. Elected to the U.S. House of Representatives (Rep., Wash.; 1899–1909) and to the U.S. Senate (1909–32), he supported prohibition, the merchant marine, and law enforcement.
