KVM cable

KVM cable

A single cable that includes the keyboard, video and mouse cables. The KVM cable does not multiplex signals in any manner. It merely combines the three cables into one for less clutter. See KVM switch.

Early Switches and Cables
These KVM switches and cables supported VGA monitors along with PS/2 keyboards and mice. The KVM boxes switched control to four, eight and 16 computers. See VGA and PS/2 port.
