Location:At the end of Ahui or Ohe streets off Ala Moana Boulevard, in Honolulu.
Facilities:Picnic areas, amphitheater, waterfront promenade, ocean access, observation areas.
Activities:Shore fishing, bodysurfing.
Special Features:This waterfront park is built over a former municipal landfill. Observation areas along the waterfront provide excellent views of Waikiki and Diamond Head.

The prefectural government earmarked a total of about 27 million yen to commemorate the victims of the Ehime Maru, including money to cover the cost of building the memorial at Kakaako Waterfront Park in Honolulu and for the unveiling ceremony in February, which will coincide with the first anniversary of the accident.
