Karabash

 

a city in Cheliabinsk Oblast, RSFSR. It is the terminus (Pirit) of a branch of the Sverdlovsk-Cheliabinsk railroad line. Population, 20, 000 (1970). In 1910 a copper smeltery was built there as part of a mining and metallurgical combine (for the extraction of copper and the production of blister copper and zinc concentrates). The blister copper that it produces is now sent to a plant for the processing of electrolytic copper in Kyshtym. Karabash was first established at the beginning of the 18th century. It became a city in 1933.

Karabash

 

an urban-type settlement in Bugul’ma Raion, Tatar ASSR. It is located on the Zai River (tributary of the Kama), on a highway, 27 km northwest of the Bugul’ma railroad station (on the Ul’ianovsk-Ufa line). Petroleum is extracted. Karabash is the site of a plant for the production of asphalt.

According to the list attached to the decree, the breeds that cannot be imported include Pitbulls, Staffordshire Terriers, the American Bully, Mastiffs, the Fila Brasileiro, Dogo Argentinos, the Japanese Tosa, Rottweilers, Doberman Pinschers, the Presa Canario, Boxers, Boerboels, the Caucasian Shepherd Dog, the Anatolian Karabash and Great Danes.
According to the decision, the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries has prohibited the import of breeds such as Pitbull, Staffordshire Terrier, American Bully, Mastiff, Fila Brasileiro, Dogo Argentino, Japanese Tosa, Rottweiler, Doberman Pinscher, Presa Canario, Boxer, Boerboel, Caucasian Shepherd Dog, Anatolian Karabash, Great Dane and any mixed breed of the above mentioned dogs.
Recently, Celik and Yilmaz (2017) have applied Chi-square automatic interaction detector (CHAID) algorithm for the determination of the body weight of Karabash dogs.
The aim of this study was to find the best one among CHAID (Chi-square Automatic Interaction Detector), Exhaustive CHAID, and CART (Classification and Regression Tree) data mining algorithms in the prediction of body weight (BW) from several body measurements (abdominal width (AW), body length (BL), chest circumference (CC), chest depth (CD), face length (FL), front shank circumference (FSC), head circumference (HC), head length (HL), head width (HW), leg length (LL), tail length (TL), rear chest width (RCW), rump elevation (RE), rump width (RW), withers height (WH)) measured easily from three Kangal (Karabash) dog color varieties (Dun/Fawn, Grizzle, and Ashy) maintained in Sivas and Konya provinces, Turkey.
