Karaton

 

an urban-type settlement in Embinskii Raion, Gur’ev Oblast, Kazakh SSR, located 86 km southwest of the Kul’sary railroad station on the Makat-Uzen’ line, 180 km southeast of Gur’ev. Oil drilling is done there.
