Kholst

 

a narrow (40–60 cm), relatively coarse, homespun fabric manufactured with a plain weave of flax yarns. The Russian term is also used for narrow (45–50 cm) linen and semilinen towel fabrics of plain and small-figured weave, produced industrially.
