Khosedaiu

Khosedaiu
a river in Arkhangel’sk Oblast, RSFSR (lower course in the Komi ASSR); a right tributary of the Adz’va River of the Pechora River basin. The Khosedaiu is 176 km long and drains an area of 2,630 sq km. It flows over the Bol’shezemel’-skaia Tundra and is fed primarily by snow. The mean flow rate 46 km from the mouth is 23.9 cu m per sec. The Khosedaiu freezes over in October, and the ice breaks up in May or early June.
