It may be recalled that the prominent Sindhi Singer Jigar Jallal Chandio and his four team members were
kidnapped from the Garhi Tegho area within the jurisdiction of Naparkot police station last Sunday night and could not be recovered till now.
In the past two years, no fewer than 20 persons, some of them government officials were
kidnapped from their homes and on the roads while travelling.

After getting information regarding the kidnapping of their relatives, the heirs of
kidnapped villagers told newsmen that four villagers named Imran Ali, Iqbal Ahmed, Sanaullah and Rabnawaz all of by caste Mirani, resident of village Khamiso Mirani, were slept at fish form when a few armed assailants
kidnapped all of them and took them on their motorcycles and released one of the kidnappee named Rabnawaz Mirani to inform the incident of kidnapping and ran away along with three villagers towards Katcha area of Garhi Tegho, riverine area of Khanpur.
He said the last remaining hostage was Horn, who was
kidnapped in Tawi-Tawi in 2012.
The police further said, "During the investigation, the CCTV footage revealed the accused carrying away the
kidnapped child...From the information received, the suspect was identified as Surender Mehto from Siwan district of Bihar."
At least six terrorists of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan were involved in his
kidnapped, he said.
