Kievan Stage

Kievan Stage
one of the horizons of Paleogene deposits in the Ukrainian SSR. Identified by N. A. Sokolov in 1893, the stage is composed of white marls with foraminifers (Clavulina szaboi Hantk., Bulimina sculptulis Cushm.) and mollusks (Pecten idoneus Wood, Spondylus Buchi Phill).
