Kingsley, Sidney
Kingsley, Sidney (b. Kirschner)
(1906– ) playwright; born in Philadelphia. His first play, Men in White (1933), won a Pulitzer Prize. Most of his plays, including Detective Story (1949), continued to look at serious contemporary themes.
