Kvarnerič

 

(or Mali Kvarner), the part of the Adriatic Sea that lies between the two main chains of the Dalmatian islands—Krk, Rab, and Pag to the east and Cres, Losinj, and others to the west. Length, approximately 100 km; width, to 27 km. Prevailing depths, 20–35 m; maximum depth, 95 m. There is fishing on Kvarnerič.
