Location:In south central Idaho, 11 miles northeast of Rupert.
Facilities:23 campsites, including standard sites as well as an RV campground with water and electric hookups; showers and restrooms; paved trails; boat ramp; 3 picnic shelters, disc golf course, volleyball area, horseshoe pits, playground.
Activities:Camping, boating, fishing, hiking, bicycling, wildlife viewing, disc golf.
Special Features:Park is located at the northwest end of the Bureau of Reclamation's Lake Walcott Project and serves as a convenient base from which to explore the Minidoka National Wildlife Refuge (see entry in national wildlife refuges section), which has some of the best birding in southern Idaho.
