Lancet style
The style of Early English architecture distinguished by its use of the
lancet arch; sometimes called First Pointed Gothic.

CHRIST CHURCH, BALA - PS90,200 Erected in 1855, the church is listed as a large and unaltered mid-Victorian town church in competent
lancet style. It is set within its own rubble-walled churchyard which contains a number of 19th century monuments and gravestones.
As well as two
lancet style windows to the front and two larger windows with
lancet style frames complete with internal shutters to the side, the room also has corn ice to the ceiling and two ceiling roses.
This lets out onto an open plan kitchen and dining room which has solid wood flooring, attractive
lancet style stone and oak framed windows, and heavy oak beams.
