An amphibious warfare ship which transports and supports landing craft and can quickly unload troops and equipment onto a beach. Designated LSD.

Solar Solve has supplied all four landing ship dock vessels ordered by the MoD, including the Lyme Bay's sister ship, Largs Bay, completed by Swans.
