Leninni Bairagy

 

(Leninni bayraghï, Lenin’s Banner), an oblast newspaper of the Karachai-Cherkess Autonomous Oblast issued in the Karachai-Balkar language. It is published in Cherkessk three times a week. Founded in 1924 as Taulu jashau (Mountain Life), it was renamed several times. Since 1959 it has been called Leninni bairagy. Circulation, 11,000 (1973).
