Location:On MT 2, 22 miles west of Three Forks or 18 miles east of Whitehall.
Facilities:40 campsites (20 tent, 20 trailer, 1 @di), group camp, 3 rustic cabins, rental tipi, picnic areas, group-use shelter, flush toilets, showers, hiking trail (9 miles), interpretive trails, visitor center, cafe, gift shop, amphitheater.
Activities:Camping, fishing (limited river access, foot traffic only), hiking, bicycling, wildlife viewing, guided tours, interpretive programs.
Special Features:Located in the rugged Jefferson River Canyon, Montana's first and best-known state park features some of the deepest and most spectacular caverns in the Northwest. Guided cave tours are available daily, May 1 through September 30.
