Insert the push button into the hole on the cistern lid, and secure by screwing the
lock nut to the treaded underside of the cistern lid.
"Leather fobs really serve no purpose whereas NutKase is a deterrent to car criminals and can save unnecessary time and costs if the
lock nut is lost," he says.
On some older versions, the wire lanyard is attached to the cable using a rivet instead of the screw and
lock nut. You'll need to use a replacement screw and
lock nut to modify those cables.
Use the hex-head wrench and nut driver to tighten the socket screw and
lock nuts (4).
New products include Spinner-Grip[TM] flange
lock nuts that eliminate the need to "wrench" the nut down the thread; Quest[TM] Series Kwik-Lok pins; pull dowels in inch and metric sizes; and Kwik-Lok lifting pins.
One was an older model and I wanted it upgraded with
lock nuts on the adjustment screws.
