Logopathy

 

a general designation for speech disorders (occurring in people with normal hearing) including defects of pronunciation, vocabulary, grammatical structure, and disturbances of the tempo and fluency of speech, as well as writing and reading disorders. Logopedics deals with the scientific study, treatment, and prevention of logopathy.
