According to the company, the MK1011GAH delivers 100GB across two disk platters, utilises the new ATA-7 interface and delivers a data transfer rate of 100MB/s, while its
Low Insertion Force (LIF) connector supports the drive's smaller form factor without inhibiting the performance of the hard disk drive to its hosting device, the company claims.
This design offers sufficient contact deflection in limited space, high contact reliability, and
low insertion force. Each facing pair of contacts has four points of contact for increased dependability.
