Location:10 miles southeast of Boise.
Facilities:Camping and hiking (backcountry yurts); full-service marina, 2 boat ramps, watercraft rental, convenience store (Spring Shores); beach, restrooms, changing areas, showers, picnic tables (Sandy Point); picnic tables, 3 group shelters, restrooms (Discovery).
Activities:Backcountry camping, hiking, boating, fishing, swimming, ice fishing.
Special Features:Park consists of four distinct units, three of which are located near Lucky Peak Reservoir: 1) Discovery, a roadside park; 2) Sandy Point, a popular beach below the foot of Lucky Peak Dam; 3) Spring Shores, which has lakeside access for water enthusiasts; and 4) Idaho City Backcountry Yurts, with camping opportunities and a trail system.
