Khokhlach, Luka Mikhailovich
Date of birth unknown; died 1708. Cossack ataman, associate of K. A. Bulavin.
In early 1708, Khokhlach marched from the Khoper River to Tambov at the head of a detachment of insurgents. In April he was defeated at the Bitiug River. In the summer Khokhlach attacked Saratov and then retreated to the Don, where he was killed by cossacks who had gone over to the tsarist side.
