Multifocal GCT of carpal bones and multicentric occurrence involving nine sites of both upper extremities including the
lunate bone in a course over 16 years were also described in two skeletally immature male patients with age of 14 and starting with age of 13 years [6, 7].
On examination restriction of wrist range of motion and local tenderness on
lunate bone. Plain radiograph of the left wrist revealed sclerosis, fragmentation and collapse of
lunate bone with normal ulnar variance and normal radiolunate articular surface.
For placement of vascularized bone graft, the wrist joint capsule was incised and the bone graft was then placed in an about 4 mm deep and wide hole which was made in the middle of the
lunate bone. The stabilization was done with a fine k-wire and the capsule was closed in a loose way in order to minimize the compression on the pedicle.

lunate bone," Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research, no.
Resisted range of motion of the left wrist reproduced dull and achy pain surrounding the
lunate bone in flexion, extension, pronation, supination, ulnar deviation, and radial deviation.
In lunate dislocation, there is disruption between the
lunate bone and the lunate fossa of the radius.
