Macintosh, Charles Rennie
(1868–1928)A highly original architect and designer who created his own version of Art Nouveau, combining logical planning and expressive ornament. His first major work was the Cranston Tea Room in Edinburgh. He also designed the Glasgow School of Art, a highly original Art Nouveau design.
