Especially, dicarboxylic acids such as malonic acid derivatives could be anchored to the surface of Ti[O.sub.2] more effectively than monocarboxylic acids, and there are few previous papers about dicarboxylic acids as coadsorbents [12].
(2006) found that the ability of different organic acids to mobilise Al followed the order: citric acid>oxalic acid > malonic acid > malic acid > tartaric acid > salicylic acid>lactic acid>maleic acid.
We used tetrabutylammonium hydroxide (Aldrich), malonic acid (Fisher), methanol (Fisher), and ammonium bicarbonate (Sigma) for preparation of the mobile-phase solutions, which were filtered through a 0.45-[micro]m membrane before use for LC separation.
The general approach will be as follows: 1) preparation of the diastereotopic intermediates of malonic acid 2) Using esterase to perform a desymmetrization of the intermediates 3) Analysis of the resulting half ester intermediates 4)Formation of different amino acids: [alpha](Curtius),[beta](Wolff,Curtius),[gamma](Wittig, Curtius) from that half ester.
It unfolds as a complex interplay among bromate ions, malonic acid, and a catalyst.
We used tetrabutylammonium hydroxide as an ion-pairing reagent and malonic acid as a buffer for HPLC separation.
The malonic acid followed the malic acid and it was notified that lowest amount of organic acid was the citric acid (Mordogan and Ergun, 2001).
A large volume of recent literature links serum levels of homocysteine and methyl malonic acid in cobalamin and folate deficiency to occlusive cardiovascular disease and neurological manifestations (8).
