A correctly proportioned doll-like figure that is jointed and will assume any human position and hold it; useful in art to draw a human figure in action, or in medicine to show the relations of organs by means of movable parts.
(medicine)
A model of a term fetus; used in the teaching of obstetrics.
A model of an adult human used to teach first aid and basic nursing skills.
