[mi′shel pə‚ram·əd·ər] (particle physics)
A number appearing in an equation for the momentum spectrum of muon decay, which depends on the nature of the weak interactions; the number is equal to 3/4 in any two-component neutrino theory before radiative corrections are taken into account.
