Location:6 miles northeast of Keystone Heights on SR 21.
Facilities:74 full-facility campsites (all have water, but 10 of the sites do not have electrical hookups), 2 primitive campsites, and 3 group campsites (with restrooms, but no electrical hookups); cabins with amenities, including CCC cabins, block cabins, and new 2-bedroom cabins (é); beach, picnic area, 8 covered shelters, playground; canoe rentals; hiking and equestrian trails.
Activities:Camping, canoeing, freshwater fishing, swimming, hiking, horseback riding, wildlife viewing.
Special Features:Park is located on rolling sandhills in an area known as the central ridge of Florida. A deep ravine with springs issuing from its side bisects the area and forms Gold Head Branch. The park was developed by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s, and the CCC's craftsmanship can still be seen at the park today.
