Miniature Card

Miniature Card

A flash memory card that was used in some consumer devices. It was later replaced by CompactFlash and other memory technologies due to its problematic connector design. See memory card.

In March: Philips Mobile Computing Group will offer the Velo 1, a handheld unit that comes standard with an integrated 19.2Kbps fax modem, fax-transmission capability and dual expansion slots, based on the new Miniature Card standard, and a Voice Memo integrated voice recorder.
Watch them decorate it with small toys, miniature cards, fairies, sprigs of holly and, if you add some battery operated lights, you'll have made a little enchanted nightlight.
