Moniliales
[mə‚nil·ē′ā·lēz] (mycology)
An order of fungi of the Fungi Imperfecti containing many plant pathogens; asexual spores are always formed free on the surface of the material on which the organism is living, and never occur in either pycnidia or acervuli.
