Moravian Gate
(Moravská braná), a mountain pass in Czechoslovakia between the eastern spurs of the Sudetes and the western spurs of the Carpathians. Elevations to 310 m. The Brno-Ostrava highway and railroad were built through the pass, which also was long an important trade route from the Danube basin to the Baltic Sea basin.
