Mufulira

 

a city in Zambia in the Copperbelt Province. Population, including suburbs, 107,800 (1969). The city has a railroad station. Mufulira is an important center of the Copper-belt; copper is mined and electrolytic and blister copper are produced in the city. Bicycles are also produced.
