Myski

 

a city (until 1956, a settlement) under the jurisdiction of Kemerovo Oblast, RSFSR. Located in the Gornaia Shoriia at the confluence of the Mras-Su and Tom’ rivers. Railroad station 60 km east of Novokuznetsk. Population, 36,200 (1970). Myski has woodworking enterprises. Coal is mined in the vicinity, and the Tom’-Usa State regional electric power plant is located nearby.
