Nachiki

 

a balneological health resort in Kamchatka Oblast, RSFSR, 105 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskii. Summers are moderately cool (average July temperature, 12°C, and winters are cold (average January temperature, —19°C). Annual precipitation totals 780 mm. Therapeutic remedies include a mineral spring whose water has the chemical composition.

This water is used for baths. Treatment is available for patients with diseases of the musculoskeletal system, gynecological problems, and nervous-system disorders. There is a sanatorium and a facility for balneotherapy.
