Namcha Barwa
a mountain peak in the eastern Himalayas, in the bend of the Brahmaputra River. It has an elevation of 7,756 m and towers more than 5,000 m above the Brahmaputra Valley. It is composed of crystalline rocks, and its slopes are covered with glaciers.
