Established: 1975. Description:Dedicated to the protection and expansion of the National Wildlife Refuge System. Monitors legislation affecting wildlife refuges. Conducts education and information programs on the system. (See Section 4 of this directory for information on the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and descriptive listings of the national wildlife refuges.) Members: 1,650 paying members (9,500 with free membership). Dues: $25/year.
Publications: Blue Goose Flyer (quarterly); free to members.
