[′näd·ə·kəl ′mənth] (astronomy)
The average period of revolution of the moon about the earth with respect to the moon's ascending node, a period of 27 days 5 hours 5 minutes 35.8 seconds, or approximately 27¼ days. Also known as draconic month; draconitic month.
