NonStop

HP's brand name for its fault-tolerant servers. The NonStop line was created by Tandem Computers, which was acquired by Compaq and later became part of HP. NonStop systems were originally MIPS based, but migrated to the Itanium CPU and later x86. See Tandem, HP and HP 9000.
