Nueva Rosita

 

a city in northern Mexico, in Coahuila State. Population, 37,900 (1970). It has a railroad station, and its leading industries are nonferrous metallurgy (zinc) and the production of coke and coke-oven by-products using Sabinas coal.

This research presents an example of using GIS, combined with other tools, to use maps to interpret geophysical data, taking as an example, the aeromagnetic data reduced to pole obtained for the Nueva Rosita area, in order to assess the geotectonic regime in this section of the Sabinas Basin, located in northeastern Mexico (Figure 1).
It said in a statement that its own rescue personnel are working to get the workers out of the mine in the town of Nueva Rosita, in the state of Coahuila bordering Texas.
