Old Dutch Parsonage State Historic Site
Location:On Somerset Street in Somerville.
Special Features:Parsonage is a historic colonial structure that was built in 1751 with
funds from three Dutch Reformed Church congregations of the Raritan
Valley. The second parson who lived here, the Reverend Mr. Jacob
Hardenbergh, was instrumental in the founding of Queen's College, which
later became Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.
