Oracle Rdb
(Oracle Relational DataBase) A relational DBMS that runs under OpenVMS on Digital's VAX and Alpha systems. Rdb was originally developed by Digital and widely used on VAX systems. Oracle acquired it in 1994 and enhanced the product.
The company will also provide Unicenter TNG database agents for both Oracle 7 and Oracle Rdb on OpenVMS, to provide enhanced management for OpenVMS systems and to fully integrate the management of distributed and web resources across the enterprise environment under Unicenter TNG.
