These three applications--better known as apps--only scratch the surface of faith-related digital materials available in Apple's App Store and, to a lesser extent, in the Android Market and
Palm Pre App Catalog.
The influential nonprofit organization, which publishes guides on everything from cars to TVs, said in a report released Monday that it tested three iPhone 4s and other phones - including the iPhone 3GS and
Palm Pre - and found none had the signal-loss problems of Apple's latest iPhone.

Palm Pre," he said.
Sprint said on Tuesday the total number of HTC EVO 4G devices sold on the launch day was in line with the number of Samsung Instinct and
Palm Pre devices sold over their first three days on the market combined.
The company said that the record was previously held by both Samsung Instinct and
Palm Pre. In addition, the total number of HTC EVO 4G devices sold on the launch day, 4 June 2010, was three times the number of Samsung Instinct and
Palm Pre devices sold over their first three days on the market combined.
The all-cash deal overvalues Palm's shares by about a quarter at $5.70 each - but that is considerably lower than the $18.09 the price hit last year following the release of their
Palm Pre handset.
Support for the iPhone OS, Android based devices,
Palm Pre and BlackBerry smartphones, is slated for release later this year.
Real estate company Camden Property Trust (NYSE:CPT) has launched mobile-optimised websites for iPhone, Blackberry, Droid,
Palm Pre and other mobile device users, the company stated on Monday.
And since then Elevation have been backing the
Palm Pre hard.
MLB.com released it last year as Mobile Premium for
Palm Pre in the summer and that it will be return for 2010 in mid-March.
Android devices currently have a fairly small amount (often as low as 512 MB), and the new
Palm Pre Plus has 16 GB.
<p>"There are rumblings of [a WiMax-enabled smartphone] that might turn out to be wishful thinking, but I'd like to see that just because Palm needs to do something kind of drastic to get out there and get a good buzz [in the market]," said Kris Keilhack, associate editor at Palm InfoCenter, and a Palm device user for 14 years.<p>HTC has been widely rumored to be making the first WiMax phone for Sprint, Keilhack noted, but other analysts and observers said it's possible Palm also would build one, partly because Sprint had the exclusive carrier deal to sell the
Palm Pre, the first device based on the webOS, in 2009.
