Papilionoideae

A subfamily of the family Leguminosae with characteristic irregular flowers that have a banner, two wing petals, and two lower petals united to form a boat-shaped keel.

is a Leguminosaous plant belongs to subfamily Papilionoideae. Sesbania grandiflora is a small erect, fast-growing, and sparsely branched tree.
A large proportion of these belong to the subfamily Papilionoideae. Genera such as Astragalus, Dalea, and Desmodium, as well as members of the other two subfamilies, such as Acacia, Mimosa, and Senna contribute to the great number of species.
