Parris, Alexander
(1780–1852)American architect based in Boston; Neoclassical builder-architect, associated with Bullfinch and others. Designed the Governor’s Residence (1812), Richmond, VA; Charlestown Navy Yard and Harbor, (1829); and Quincy Market (1826), both in Boston, MA.
