Established: 1928.
Location:50 miles southwest of Casper, Wyoming.
Facilities:Viewing sites with interpretive signs.
Activities:Boating, canoeing, fishing, hunting.
Special Features:Refuge overlays portions of the Bureau of Reclamations Pathfinder Reservoir. It is an important waterfowl unit in the western edge of the Central Flyway.
Habitats: 16,807 acres in 4 units consisting of sagebrush/grassland, and wetlands.
Access: Open year round during daylight hours.
Wild life: Willets, American Avocets, Wilson's phalaropes, American coots, great blue herons, pronghorn, mule deer, and rabbits.
