Location:North-central Colorado, northeast of Greeley. Accessible by US 85 and CO 14. Nearby cities/towns include Ault, Eaton, Fort Collins, Grover, Greeley, and Sterling.
Facilities:Campground, group camps, picnic areas, trails, ballfields, scenic drive and overlook.
Activities:Camping, hiking, hunting, mountain biking, horseback riding, bird watching, stargazing.
Special Features:Pawnee Buttes, a geological feature rising some 300 feet above the prairie; Crow Valley Recreation Area; old cemeteries and homesteads; nearby Grover Grassland Museum and Briggsdale Heritage House.
