Photoelectric Guiding Device
in astronomy, a photoelectric accessory that automatically guides a telescope. Such a device automatically keeps in the telescope’s field of view an observed heavenly body that is moving because of the apparent diurnal rotation of the celestial sphere or that is actually moving relative to the fixed stars.
