Location:North of Fairmont, 2 miles from I-79.
Facilities:Picnic areas, interpretive trail, hiking trail, boat ramp, fishing pier, museum, historic site, gift shop, amphitheater (é).
Activities:Boating (access to the Monongahela River), fishing, hiking, mountain biking, living history demonstrations, programs and events (seasonal).
Special Features:On the site of one of the state's early frontier forts, the park features a reconstructed fort built to resemble the 1774 original. Within the fort compound are 16 cabins, a meeting hall, and a storehouse. Park staff demonstrate authentic pioneer crafts, including blacksmithing, weaving, and spinning.
