QuickApp

An earlier software tool from Attachmate Corporation, Bellevue, WA (www.attachmate.com) that added screen scraping capability to client/server development systems. QuickApp scanned and recorded the mainframe terminal screens that were displayed on the PC via a 3270 emulator.

Newer technologies to accomplish this include Attachmate Synapta Smart Connectors, Synapta (formerly myEXTRA!) Presentation Builder, Enterprise Access Objects, or by rewriting using HLLAPI with the EXTRA! Developer API SDK.
