Rancocas State Park
Location:Access via I-295 Exit 45A or via Route 38 into Mount Holly.
Facilities:Hiking trails, nature center, replica Native American village.
Activities:Hiking, nature programs (sponsored by the New Jersey Audubon Society).
Special Features:A network of trails leads through hardwood forests along Rancocas Creek
and an extensive freshwater tidal marsh. A portion of the park is
leased to the Powhatan Indians, and a replica of the Indian village of
the 1600s has been constructed on this site.
